My neighbor is great. Wouldn’t trade him for anyone. But he has a shed full of two-stroke gadgets and today is yard day and we’re on Machine Number Three. I’m trying to have a quiet morning working on Rusty...

But the smell of two-stroke exhaust is the best thing ever.

Especially when you accidentally put 45:1 into the push mower that normally takes 32:1. It ran really good & killed lots of bugs too.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a push mower with a 2stroke

My dad had a 2-stroke Toro when I was a kid.

That does suck. I’m slowly transitioning to electric. The 2-stroke fumes, which I used to love the smell of, now give me a bad headache. Same with diesel fumes.

When I was young, I used to like the smell of gasoline. In the Army, when I was a fuel handler, I grew to hate it and to prefer the (relatively) sweet smell of diesel fuel. As for exhaust, I don’t like any of it.

That video is amazing. I’m looking forward to training up my son soon in the fine art of weed-whacking.
